Traveling alone can afford you the benefit of doing what seems like meaningless tasks to other people, while knowing that it will produce something incredible in the end. Take for example my 2 websites that I launched over the weekend. My Travel Photos and Amsterdam CoffeeShopReview.
My Travel Photos
Is a collection of all the photographs that I have taken as I travel around the world. My pictures are by no means professional, or that spectacular, it's just more a the way that I see this vast planet we live on.
Amsterdam CoffeeShop Review
I love the City of Amsterdam, and I tend to frequent the many coffeeshops that the city has to offer while I am there. I figured that since I would be there, I should give myself a "reason" to goto all the shops in the city, document them, and build a community review site.
I hope that I c an help to inspire at lease one other traveler to get out there and LIVE!!

No Need to Fear Solo Travel
One of the first questions I get asked when people find out I travel alone, is "Aren't you afraid?" Well...aren't YOU afraid. You are as well in a foreign land, far away from loved ones and others who care for you. There is no need to let life scare you into staying at home because you didn't have a buddy to travel with. Solo Travel can be exhilarating and mind-opening at the same time. I have sat down to dinner by myself in every country I have been in, and have walked away from that dinner with friends and a full agenda for the evening. A Smile and an open mind can have wonderful effects on the Independent Traveler. Open your mind to see the world laid out in front of you. If being away from family is your concern, consider that the internet is global, and you will possibly end up talking to family and friends more through internet communications because they are interested in what you are doing. Get Out There!! Live Globally, Work Digitally.
